This is a popular area of investment as if you buy in the right area you could get a long term tenant in place whilst your property value increases.

Residential ‘Block’ Purchases

We often find deals where our clients can purchase a whole block of apartments. The size of the block may range between 10-50 apartments with some blocks already coming with paying tenants already in place. House Of Multiple Occupation (HMO)

A house of multiple occupation (HMO) is a house that is occupied by 5 or more tenants that are not classed in the same household. They will often have shared kitchen and bathrooms along with a communal living area. Most HMOs will require you to have a license, this is something we can advise on at the time of the purchase transaction.

Often let to students (although this doesn’t rule out having private tenants), HMO’s are popular with investors due to the high rental yields that can be achieved.
